Andy Smith
Men's Hockey
Second year forward Andy Smith (Rosetown, Sask.) of the men’s hockey team helped his team earn two crucial weekend victories as Waterloo defeated Windsor and Brock.  In Friday night’s game Smith was a critical part of Waterloo’s special teams and scored the only goal in the shootout to lift the Warriors to a 3-2 win over the Lancers.  On Sunday at the OUA Outdoor Classic, Smith was once again a key role player for the Warriors while chipping in with an assist on the game tying goal.  Waterloo would capture the classic 3-1.
Julia Endicott
Women's Hockey
Fourth year defenceman Julia Endicott (Toronto) continued her stellar play on the backend for the Waterloo women’s hockey team logging big time ice minutes as the Warriors went 1-0-1 over the weekend.  Waterloo picked up a 4-2 win over the Windsor Lancers on Saturday with Endicott a force on the blue line and followed up that performance on Sunday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Western with another strong defensive game while adding an assist on the equalizing goal.  Endicott has been a big factor in Waterloo’s second lowest goals against in the OUA at 44.
